Abstract:

Collection includes photographs, postcards, several tintypes, and one book stamp with Griffith C.E. Evans' name. Mostly family portraits (some framed), many studio portraits and views of family houses in various locations. Also included are publicity photos from Rome and several oversize group portraits from various mathematical conventions. Three photomechanical prints signed "Pr/a\silove" from early 1930s are also present. Includes 2 panoramic photographs (G folder): group portraits of International Mathematical Congress Convention (Toronto, 1924) and Semicentennial Celebration of American Mathematical Society (New York City, 1938).
